Has anyone here tried one of these coats? I'm wondering if the fleece and gortex are attached together, and if they are washer/dryer friendly.

I know this may sound silly, but at what temperature should you jacket a dog with short fur? I live in Florida and I know all y'all northerners prolly laugh at us complaining about the cold but I swear it almost freezes down here by January! Ok well to me and other southerners anyways ;) Would y'all recommend me finding a jacket for my basenji mix? Or is the Florida cold weather warm enough she should be fine?

We are in Tampa and use coats when the dogs shiver! One of my dogs tolerates colder temps than the other, but both need a sweater or coat when it's 50 degrees or less. The cold is very damp here!
