Hello Arti - Your B's are beautiful! And all the pics are great - love your camera. They are having so much fun. Don't you love watching them play?

I was showing my 8 yr old these pics. Do you know he immediately noticed something wrong? Your black & white doesn't have his collar on. It takes a little one to point out a no-no! I told him they probably live in the country and is very well behaved. We have taught my son well - Duke must always have his leash and collar on when out of the yard.

We have two of the black and white basenji stuffies, because our son, Ethan, REALLY wanted our first one, to be his, and his alone ;) He calls it Ivy (even though she is a tri). So for Christmas, Santa brought him his own Ivy....(we call her Ivy Oreo, to make it clear which one we are talking about!)

We totally doused Ivy Oreo with Bitter Apple, and reapply frequently, because are dogs are convinced she is a really strange puppy that needs to be seriously investigated. But mostly she stays in his room, safe from dogs ;)

Can't forget the ankle nippers, a couple of them.

Chow mix that looked like a devil dog....all black and yellow eyes.

There's been at least one dog in our house for the last 30 years and a few cats from time to time.....................reptiles, fish, birds. We even owned a horse at one time.

...and for good reason! We've had horses since I was 4 and then became allergic. My father is a "Bayonne (NJ) cowboy". My sister breeds horses in southern VT...she's got a paint stud colt foaled May 1, 2006 and his paint dad, mom (QH), a paint mare and also a black and white paint large pony -- all for sale if you'd like another!!
We've had growing up: a beagle, lab, siberian husky, shih tzu and finally - Nala!! After becoming allergic I had hampster, gerbil, newts, salamanders...
I hope my kids don't get into that!! Although Natalie is showing signs...she can't wait for spring/summer when those red efts start showing up in the mud!

My Maggii and OJ were born in Aug and Sept.... but that was the year that the Basenji Nationals was on the West Coast and there were a couple of bitches that were having puppy seasons... and they brought all the bitches in season... it took about a yr for them all (the ones that typically had one season a year) to get back to normal cycles... so yea.. that are some with "strange" b-days....

Bet Jasper's Mom said "I think I will wait a few months.. then I will be the only bitch around with pups".... ggggg

Oh and Kiya feels unloved btw... :( No spring fling for her this year...

Ooooohhhhh I want one .Yep Harley is doing really well he´s winning everything here takes after his dad.And now Sofie has two more to show Enigma Touch Of Magic (Russin) R/W girl and Enigma Black Magic both after Viking.So i´m getting quite a competiton when I meet them in the ring my pup is after Meisterhaus Tail of Intrigue.Myran and Russin meet quite often to play and we´ve been ring training for Sofie.
