Oh my gosh! I opened that page with my 16 and 14 yo dd's in the room w/me. Thankfully, {I think and hope!} They were busy putting on their coats, so I dont think they saw anything.
What kind of creep even joins a group just to post something like that?
They don't even have a clue how pathetic they are. Sad.

As someone who frequents the web, you wouldn't be surprised at how many people do this type of thing. They infiltrate everything, it seems! Glad I read this post first or I, too, would have probably opened it.
I think the most disgusted I got (and I categorize all of this simply as 'spam') was when I was trying to rent my room in my condo and I got about 3 legitimate emails from potential renters and about 40 emails from scammers who were trying to pull off the 'money order scam'. This scam involves them agreeing to rent the room, and then sending a money order for more than what you are asking. You are supposed to cash the money order, keep some of the extra for yourself and then Western Union the rest of the additional money back to them. Then, the money order turns out to be fake and you're out the entire lot. I don't know how they get away with this. I even got one of them to send me the money order (for $7500 on a rent request of $2750!) so I could send it to the authorities. The 'authorities' don't do crap with it because there is no real way for them to catch them since most are in Africa.
What's kinda funny about that post is that about 30 people have looked at it now. :D I'm sure, as I said, I would have stumbled into it as well.
The trick, with regard to this site, is to roll your mouse over the forum link prior to reading it. You can see, in the popup, that it's an external link.

Thanks for the tip, Tucker.
Yes, dh sold his fishing boat last year and we got so many emails from people claiming to be "agents" working for "clients" overseas, and offering to send checks...etc.
One guy did send us a "check" for $28,000, which I took to the bank from which it was supposedly written, and it was confirmed as a fake.
At least with those, they had the expectation of maybe getting some cash.
The PIA's on this site just wanted a little shock value.
The world is full of morons......

It's already gone. Admin, you are awesome!!
Thank you everyone for watching over our community. The intruder has been banned.
Unfortunately these types of trolls are very common on the internet forums as they get immediate exposure to large live audience at no cost. As our community gets more known on the web, its inevitable that we get more posts like that.
Please send us a PM right away if you notice any more of these.

That was Leeno's Paw when he was just 8 weeks old. He passed away a few months after due to rare complications.
A year later after creating Basenji Fourms, we received Chance. This is a picture of Chance now at 1 year old.
