My Basengi Louie is 3 years old and has been a great companion for me. Unfortunatly I am at a point in my life where I can't provide him with the proper care that he deserves. I need help in finding him in a suitable home.
I have filled out an application to re home him last week but have not received a response.

I'm wondering if anyone has advice on other areas I can possibly explore? Or if anyone else has information on this process.

Thank you,

Jennifer

I'm sorry that you have to give him up :(

Have you contacted BRAT? http://www.basenjirescue.org/

Have you contacted the breeder?

I didn't contact BRAT directly because I couldn't find any contact information. However, I did fill out an application to re-home him but have not received a response from anyone.
In terms of a breeder, I bought him from a pet shop and don't have any of that info either.

Thank you guys for your response.

I filled it out last Wednesday. Maybe I should just give more time.
I will try that link though, thanks so much!

Can you post some pics and tell us a little about your dog- and why you're having to give him up? Many of us are involved in various aspects of the Basenji world and we could cross post if you give us more information. Thanks, and all the best to you and Louie.

Yeah, I'm kinda interested in knowing what this means, just curious:
