Yes that is good news... but even at worst, because Gabii was already tested clear, the pups could have only been carriers.

Yes that is true and as so, can be bred back to a carrier to preserve bloodlines. In truth, can even be bred back to an affected (would produce all carriers)... And that is the greatest thing about having a DNA test, we have the ability to not have to throw the baby out with the bath water...

Now if we can get DNA for PRA (eye blindness) that would be super....
