'Rough Day'

I had a 9:00 a.m. flight this morning to Charlotte it got canceled due to tornadoes in the area. So I went out side the terminal had a couple of smokes came in took a leak. It was like an all handicapped bathroom, there were no urinals. Finished up and washed my hands, the female janitor came in and looked at me and said "you don't belong here, ladies room!" I just relieved myself in the womans bathroom. At least she had a sense of humor about it.

Flight finally took of at 4:20 p.m. got here fast and which was nice. Called in to tell my wife I got here and she broke the news that one of my 2 dogs got hit and killed. Broke my damn heart. We took him because no one else wanted him about 7 years ago. He was my wifes baby when we thought we could not have kids. He was a pretty laid back dog that helped us both in some hard times years ago. I give him and my other dog credit for pulling me out of the depression I suffered after my mom died in '97 and my dad in 2000.
The part that really sucks is that we are just weeks away from having a yard he could have been in safely.

R.I.P. Yancy "

He asked me to do some photo editing for him. Please see my photo gallery titled "A Tribute to Yancy":

How very sad. Yancy (what a great name!) certainly was a beautiful dog.

Sorry to hear that your friend lost Yancy, he seems to have done his part here on earth by helping your friend with depression. I am sure that his loss is not easy and he will never be forgotten.

How wonderful that you photoshopped those Rainbow Bridge pictures as a tribute to Yancy. Please pass your condolensces to your friend for us.

That is so -- I can relate because my previous beasie (wizard) went that way too. :( Great pictures - especially with the Rainbow Bridge.

I know what it is like to loose a dog to a sudden car accident (hit & run). My heart goes to you and your family at this time.
