I submitted a blood sample in early April and I know the lab received it.
How long before I'm notified of results?

As the lab begins to recieve more and more samples it will take longer for them to get results out. It can take up to 6 weeks. You may want to contact the lab and see when the sample might be run if you haven't heard anything in 4 weeks just to know what their schedule is like.

And also now, people that are marking the test for 08 breeding will be put to the top of the list in many cases.
On the CPP site, does it now show the DNA received?

No it doesn't show my dog at all.
I know they received the DNA because I received a notice from UPS.

You signed your dog up with the CPP and it doesn't show him in the database at all? Or it just doesn't show that the sample has been recieved?
If the dog is not showing in the database at all you need to contact the lab. I am not sure they will run the sample until the dog is showing up in the database.

Did you sign up your Basenji on the CPP site?

I thought he was as I had a number for him. Some of his siblings had been tested previously by the breeder. Anyway I'll send CPP a email and find out.

You should be able to go onto the CPP site and access his information... have you tried? If you can, then he is registered. Then the DNA part is marked once they do the extraction from the sample.

Were the Sire and Dam tested? (just curious)... cause if one is clear then your kid could only be Carrier at worst.

No the parents were not. Most of her dogs that have been tested have been negative for fanconi so I figure my chances are good that EL D will be fine.
