I think kidsalisbury means chat room? A place on the forum for members to chat back and forth live. Like instant messaging.

I like this idea too! What do you think about suggestion certain "chat times" that people can join in? I am just thinking this because while this forum is pretty big, I don't really seem to notice all that many "regular, active" members. At least not enough to fill a chat room 24-7. I am just afraid that it will never get used because people will try to log on at various times and find no one there, and give up on using the feature. We could keep it open all the time, but then post meet up chat times where we know there will be a good numbers of members present.

Which would be 2hrs? later then West Coast time?.. Bit too early for me...

Is there a way to see what the most active time is on here? Maybe we could base it on that, since of course we will probably never be able to accomodate everyone. Or, the times could vary from day to day.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to see the most active time. But I did notice that usually most posts come in the morning.

how about two times? one in the morning and then one at night? would that work for everyone? that way some of the stay at home B's moms and/or dads can chat either time it works into their schedule. I work from 4:00 am- 7:00am then 10:30 am- 7:00pm depending on how the cows act.

I too think this would be a good idea and did suggest it in another thread (didnt realise there already was a thread) Hopefuly if it ever got off the ground we could maybe find a time or two suitable for all nationalities to chat.
Just needs coordinating. I think on other forums there is a thread dedicated to chat?
Perhaps the moderators could come in and help us?
