Help--I can't figure out this site

I want to add info to let you know more about Glory Princess and me, and I can't figure out where to do it and what to click on. Most clicks lead me to dead ends. This is frustrating. Any help appreciated!!!! Patty What is a thread, for heaven's sake???

Where are you trying to add this info, you go to User CP and either add as a signature or just personal info.

GloryPrincess - calm down first (don't beat on the computer - I've done that it doesn't work :)). From the beginning page, if you click on one of the topic choices (memeber introductions sounds the most appropriate) you'll see near the top a little box marked "new thread" - this is for new messages not for a reply to other messages and is what you want. Click on that and an empty message box will appear. Type in whatever you want to say about your dog then scroll down the page a little way and you'll see "post quick reply". CLick that and your message will be sent to all. That should work without problems.
