How to reply to visitor messages

I have received some visitor messages which is great. However, do i send a reply from my own page, or do i have to go onto the visitor's link or page and leave a reply there?:confused:

Hiya,

when you go to the message they have left just click on their name and it will take you to their profile page then you can send a message that way:D
