Classifieds Rules
The Basenji Forums Classifieds is a great place to buy, sell and trade with other members of our community. Please read the following rules before posting in the classified forums.
Users should understand that Basenji Forums only acts as the publisher of the classified service and will not be held liable for products offered or information displayed in the forum. All information displayed in the forum is the sole responsibility of the posting member. Buyers beware!
This forum is for Basenji Forums members to buy/sell/trade with each other only. The following rules must be followed at all times. Violators of these rules will be removed from the classified section and may be removed from the Basenji Forums.
POSTING FORMAT:
In an effort to keep the classifieds clean, we are requiring that all classifieds posts be in the following formats:
If you are selling an item/service:
(Example FS: Item/Service Name)
If you want to purchase an item:
(Example WTB: Item Name)
If you want to trade an item:
(Example WTT: Item Name for Item Name)
Please post pictures of your items and a price in your initial post.
Once your item has sold, or you have found what you are looking for, please make a note of that in your thread.
We will not allow all CAPS thread titles, or distracting characters such as ">", "*", "!", "~", etc. The thread title MUST be in a format presented above, or the thread will be removed.
RULES FOR SELLERS/TRADERS:
Sellers must guarantee that all merchandise is real, descriptions and prices are accurate and include true to life photos as needed. Basenji Forums will not be liable for any information posted in the forum.
Sellers may not post links to outside commercial websites. We do not allow any business commercial activity in the classifieds section.
Please don't make multiple threads advertising the same item.
Items that are not to be sold in the classifieds are: Firearms, Animals, Tobacco, Illegal copies of software, repair manuals, etc
Respect others' transactions. Do not jump in on another member's post and offer to sell something for a cheaper price than they are, advise someone on where to buy an item cheaper, or in any other way compromise the sale of another member.
Do not post negative feedback on the public forum. If you've got feedback on a member that is negative, do not post it publically. Instead, try to work out with that member a situation to resolve the problem. Posts that are negative, or defame a member will be immediately deleted by the moderators.
Please return Emails, PM's, or respond to messages. If you come to this forum to post, please respond to posts by members, or leave some way for them to contact you.RULES FOR BUYERS/TRADERS:

Buyers, Sellers, and all users of the Basenji Forums classifieds agree to adhere to all local, federal, and international laws including laws corresponding to the display, transaction, and delivery of equipment and products.
Basenji Forums may in its sole discretion review, edit, and remove any ad without the permission of the advertising publisher. Basenji Forums, its owner and staff are NOT responsible for any deals gone wrong or misscommunications. We may try to help facilitate a problem, but we are not to be held liable. Use you own judgement.
