When we had Dalmatians friends and family would always send us spotted stuff for birthday's and Christmas. Our house is very black & white. LOL. However, when we told people we were interested in getting a Basenji we heard that people looked everywhere and could not find any merchandise, though we did get a magnet and stationery. So I decided to do a search for what's out there that's Basenji related. While my favorite was a fine art print that showed a heavily tattooed nude woman with a Basenji on her lap entitled "Markings" since this is a family site I will post some rated G things I thought were interesting. I hope no one is offended by seeing a picture of men's boxers.

Great items, we can't get a lot in our country .However i do have two of the cups with the 3d Basenji, they look great together in my cupboard. I also managed to get an angel Basenji ornament from an ebay seller in the USA.
Found a good website for getting Basenji t shirts to, they have just arrived today.

Since we still can't go out due to the ice, spent some more time on the computer finding more cool B stuff.

I meant to say in my first post MD that i used to have a Dalmation in the early 80's. She was a Liver spotted bitch called Amy. We had her untill she was 10 years. A great Dog, full of fun, i thought she was quite hard to train untill i got a Basenji :D
She used to smile so much that she often caused herself to sneeze

Glad to see another former Dal owner. Yes, my two, Aria & Lyric, were not easy to train and like Basenji's they could be quite stubborn and had selective hearing. However, they were incredibly intelligent and you could not turn your back on them for an instant when they were younger. I think having Dals will be an excellent precursor to training & living with a Basenji.

The light switch cover is by Roger Kibbee, a California artist who also has Basenjis, although he is more into Sporting Dogs. He has lots and lots of Basenji items, from bookmarks to engraved crystal. He does wonderful work!

Don't forget the design we made on cafepress. You can get it on any item that cafepress offers.... It features a basenji silhouette with the words "Since 2000 BC" on it.

I don't remember where I saw it, but I did download the image to my computer and saved it to my hard drive. If you can figure out how to get me your e-mail address I can e-mail you a copy. I believe you need to go through the webmaster and ask them to send me your address, but others on here would know better than me.
