Hopefully brat or camp basenji contacted the owner. More hopefully, the owner contacted the breeder who generally has first right of refusal to take back their puppies.

Look into Basenji Club of Canada site to see if they list breeders.

You can also look at www.basenji.org (US parent Basenji club), some from Canada are also members of the US parent club. Breeders can be found by state/country
