In one of my previous apartments I used to frequent a particular, locally owned, quickie-type market. Occasionally, I would bring my dog. They had no problem with me bringing him into the store while I carried him. In fact, he became a bit of a celebrity because the clerks would point us out when we came in, saying "that's the dog I was telling you about, a basenji" to other customers. I had the experience of a bit of teaching about the breed. many were appreciative, some were just jerks because "they were 'real men' and they had to have a "real" dog" UUGGHH! So what's a "real dog'? Made me angry but it was a 'quickie-mart' - how angry could I get?
Never leave a child alone with a dog!!

I must say at least I like what I see was a good thing what good nature dog. They say Pit Bull's are no good goes back to how the dog is raised.

I was not aware that Bull Terriers were ever confused with Pit Bulls since they are two different breeds. Of course one of the things that brought more awareness to the Bull Terrier was portrayal of the Spuds McKenzie dog character created by a marketing team to promote Bud Lite during the 1980's around the time of the super bowl.

Hope those were washable markers, the theatrical oils don't wash off, they wear off…..after a LONG time!!! Been there, done that with my long passed Snorkie. One of my favorite memories of small kid and favored dog/brother.
