  • Well, that makes sense why they are so lovely, then :) I think I know your tri bitch then. Didn't you go to the BCOC National last year in Sarnia? We were there too!

  • @Quercus:

Yes,Yes,Yes!! I had Shadow there as well I believe in the Altered class. She was also in RI at the BCOA National. Funny walk-we're working on that. She definitely has typical tri attitude though. Into everything, anything and always on the move!

I'll also have her at the BCOC National in Manitoba this year!

  • good lookin group of dogs you have there!

  • Good looking family! Our girl Chevy comes from Robyn also.

  • If anyone was at the BCOA National in RI, they would probably remember Sugar as the one sleeping on the stand, strutting with her head down, wake me when it's over attitude. She had just come into her first heat (3 days), lost a LOT of iron and did NOT want to be there. I think she said to me, "Wake me when it's over please!"

  • Uh….there were lots of basenjis there doing that ;) That is *normal for the basenji ring :) It's like they are saying "whatever, Mom...I understand that you enjoy this for some reason...but REALLY, do we have to?"

  • Okay she was also the one in the 6-12 mos class that was not listed as she was in the dog class not the bitch class.

  • Oh my your crew is absolutley adorable. I love Shadow, he's adorable, Sugar looks mischievous, Zina looks like a typical boxer clown and Calli is so cute and looks like a cuddler.

I could have it all wrong though, lol

    They are all great looking.

  • Yep, that pretty much describes them. I'm going to post more pics of just the B's. Couldn't do it all in one shot!!

  • They are all sweeties. I can't help it I just love animals.

If you leave things in their reach (any puppy/young dog) will get into trouble.... pick things up.... put them away, they do not know the difference between their toys/chews and things like remotes/glasses/etc... they have your scent on them. You have to work on crate training if you can't secure a place for them.

@TMartin: Looks like he did wonderful! In Loki's puppy class we did the same exercise, with the peanut, regular exercise balls, and barrels placed on their side and with something underneath while upright to make it wobbly. One of the pics I posted of Loki months ago is of him on the peanut. A regular exercise ball is more challenging as you first need to make sure you have a good hold on it and then gradually loosen your hold so it wobbles however much the dog can handle at the time. And of course it is far more unstable than the peanut. I haven't ordered the peanut yet, but now that you are talking about the regular exercise ball, I might go for that instead, because I can use it to stretch out my lower back.
