All,
I am bringing a Basenji from South Sudan to the U.S. likely at the end of October. He will be 3 months old at the time. Any advice for socializing him to a Dachshund and Brittany Spaniel in a home with someone home most of the toime would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jim
She's a cutie! Sounds like she'll make a wonderful companion no matter the pedigree. And I second the jumping ability-- once they realize how high they can leap, nothing is safe!
Maca used to make pee on the cabs.. on my legs.. lol. And everytime just one block to get home! So i arrive wet and get directly to take my own bath, lol
Im pretty sure Maya would eat a ferret (or anything furry!) too. I have two pet hedgehogs and im sure she would eat those if they weren't so prickly…
Your hedgehogs are beautiful. I would like to get one, but I have to settle down in a state that will allow me to have one. I'm not ready to settle down yet. 😃
That's ok who wants life to be easy and nothing ever happening?????? Yes we now have three gates and tons more fun and laughing. Out ten year old shiba has even got up and is now playing more and running around like she is a pup she don't run as long but that is a good thing for us.
The phones and cell phones we have to really really watch or they are gone. The tv remote was gone once but Jaycee got a treat for that beacuse my husband watch's to much tv anyway and this away it was a whole lot harded but we found it the next day.
We have learned whats Jaycee's is Jaycee's whats ours is Jaycee's and anything else is Jaycee's.
When Zahra was about 9 months I saw her go through a picket type fence at the dog park at PETA. I am glad that she is bigger now and can't do it anymore. Maybe I better not say that …
