    There is a male Basenji that is 17 months that is a breeder return... available in So. California. He is a red/white and available to either a possible show home or pet home... either is fine... can be neutered as this time he is not.. if interested please contact me and I will give you the breeders information... he can be neutered, but should be placed with a female. Please contact me if interested and I will give you the breeders information. He is from a responsible breeder that I have known for years. Contact me for information you can find my email on my website, link below. Breeder would prefer a West coast placement, but not required if a good match. He is health tested and clear for Fanconi and PRA... well bred boy... just didn't work in the placement with other Basenjis, male/females in the home. This is the reason he needs to be with a female...

    I'm sure this has already been forwarded to basenjirescue.org but I sent it again just in case as well as posted this on their Facebook page. Hopefully someone can help this guy out. I can help with transport if needed. :-)

    Pat, as you know, we really do work hard in BRAT to make sure that any quality basenji breeder are notified. I know myself, I have told folks that their b was in need in rescue, and the info never showed up on the rescue list. We are not out there to slam anyone. Our jobs are all about the dogs..ALWAYS… its about the dogs. If I get more that I can share, I will be happy to do so. Hugs my unmet friend.

    Ms. Vicki, you are the greatest! I've been thinking about this boy since you posted him. It's really cool you're giving your time and experience to rehome him properly.     Just an update…..... Buddy is hamming it up on a trial basis with my beautiful Itzyu bitch in the Seattle area :-) He'll probably be seen at shows or lure trials where Bebe will be entered :)

    This is the type of venue that might be the key to get these dogs a home. Most of us are basenji loves and we have friends who "might" work for some of the dogs posted here. I do so hope so!
