Thank you for all the information. I am going to a dog show in Springfield, Illinois next weekend to meet some dogs from Meiterhaus (Tad Brooks). This makes me feel alot more comfortable. :D

Yes, I have been talking to Meisterhaus and Wanda Pooley. I am planning on going to a show in Springfield, Il next weekend and seeing some of the dogs from Meisterhaus.

I have been doing alot of research and really want to add a basenji to our family. I hope to be able to add pictures of a new puppy here within 3 to 4 months. :D

I want to know if there is any difference in getting a puppy that is a carrier and one that is clear. I do not plan on doing any breeding. I just want a great family pet. This is all new to me and I just want to make sure I make the right decision :confused:
