Hola I am Ena :) , from Peru, now living in Calif. I am owned by a basenji mix named Zorro-BaBa. He is 2 1/2 years old. I rescued him when he was six months old, he was a stray with a dislocated hip. He is now the love of my life.

I have found links the the Basenji Club of America and a list of breeders. The closest one is about 4 hours away. I do see a number with a local area code listed as a rescue resource so I think I will give him a call to see if I can see some and spend a little time with a few. I really would like to raise a puppy but I would be open to getting one that is a year or 2 if I find the right one.

Big Hello from AZ to The Jones'
Been busy doing coursing practices with the club. Jocelyn has been learning too, she even operates the lure machine and sets up and takes down the course. She took Buddy to OK and got a 4 point major. We're off to Texas on Monday for two weeks of shows and probably see you two at Palomar or Camp Pendleton.
