    I own five basenjis. Two yodel until you have a headache and my female barks. She always did. Short clipped barks. I also researched the breed before getting my first and she is an excellent dog. My third basenji was a handful. Three years later and he has stopped his destructiveness etc. It was a hard three years. Lol. You never know with a basenji. Greatest breed. Loyal, active, funny but some require ALOT of patience.

    Hey Jacquelyn, is that you? Just let us know when you're ready for your own! Amina will have a litter this year, we hope… Of course, you'd have to come to Texas... But you can come and bring your mom and Ella too. Terry

    @renaultf1: In my case 3-4 hours would be nice. Here where I live it is 2.5 hrs to Liyah's breeders and then another 6-9 hours to anywhere there was a major (NY - PA) last year. I'd LOVE 3-4 hrs. :D:D:D Yeah, I hear you. For majors it's a different story. Unless I'm really lucky at the two regional specialities (which I'm pretty fortunate to have easy access to) every other major will be a 6+ drive. Lure coursing will probably be worse! :rolleyes:
